Emilio has risen to great heights in the dance world over a span of 12 years. He started his career with great success as a dancer/performer, and with that success has risen to become an Emmy award winning choreographer.
In 2019, Emilio became the Associate Choreographer for the new film set to hit movie theaters June 11, 2021 “In the Heights”, directed by Jon M Chu. In the end of 2020, Emilio was the choreographer for the Disney+ film “Sneakerella”, directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum. This film lead him to his first nomination for the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards (CAFÉ Awards), where he went on to win his first Emmy Award for his body of work in Sneakerella.
At the end of 2022, Emilio went on to choreograph for an Action film “Argylle” directed by Matthew Vaughn, to be released in February, 2024.
Emilio’s latest work would have him become the Associate Choreographer for the film adaptation of “Wicked” Parts 1 & 2, to be released at the end of 2024 & late 2025.
Emilio continues to push himself as a choreographer/dancer, determined to accomplish all his goals for the future & continue to inspire others to dance & follow their dreams.
