Ren Weeden is an award-winning producer, writer, and director. He is known for his diverse range of projects; from his notable narrative work “Vestige” to seasoned unscripted shows such as “Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch” & “Military Makeover”. Ren has been a showrunner for numerous shows and has several scripted and unscripted development projects that are garnering attention.

A rare blend of homegrown (Pokanoket Indian) and imported (Cape Verdean/Black American) insanity, Ren Weeden was born in Baltimore, Maryland to a village of dreamers. He realized his passion for storytelling during his time earning a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering.

From the lab bench to the main stage of multiple productions, he honed his narrative skills. He now writes for The Loft Ensemble (Theatre), BrandStar Studios (Television), and his own creative house, Golden Lyre Productions (Film).

Recently, he wrapped the first season of “Billion Dollar Showdown” as Producer and Lead Writer, additionally, he has achieved the acclaimed Silver Reef from Cannes Festival for his short film “Sunflower”. Ren leads projects with a storytelling first mentality. Believing that truth exists at the intersection of beauty, comedy, and horror, his work is as vast as it is versatile.
